Saint John in Poble Sec
The night of June 23rd, the festival of Saint John, is a magical night celebrating the summer solstice, two days late. It's a celebration that the Catholic Church commemorates with the birth of Saint John the Baptist, and it has become a festival with very strong and symbolic elements and customs.

SATURDAY 20 OF JUNE
6 pm | ‘Corre i no et quedis sec’
Music parade around the neighbourhood establishments
Route around the neighbourhood establishments enlivened with live music by Atiliks. Don’t miss this evening filled with festivities, music and great vibes!

9 pm | Community dinner with "pa amb tomàquet"
Plaça de Catalunya
Community dinner with pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato) and the presentation of the 2026 Poble Sec heiress and heir.
12 midnight | Festival night with DJ HXO
Plaça de Catalunya
Starting at midnight, DJ HXO will heat up the night in Plaça de Catalunya.
SUNDAY 21 OF JUNE

CIM – Corral de la Vila Courtyard
A wine and gastronomy experience to celebrate the Sant Joan (St. John’s Eve) festivities through culture, tradition, and the Malvasia wines of Sitges. We will explore fascinating customs and rituals linked to the summer solstice and the celebrations of the Poble Sec neighborhood, while pairing three traditional coques (Catalan festive pastries) from Forns Enrich with three Malvasia wines from the Hospital Winery.

TUESDAY 23 OF JUNE
2 pm | Explosion of the 12 morterets

7 pm | Arrival of the "Flama del Canigó"

Arrival of the Flame of El Canigó to Sitges, organized by Òmnium Garraf.
11:30 pm | Start of the revelry

We’ll kick of the Sant Joan revelry with an activity filled with light, colour and energy to light up the night.
12 pm | Apotheosic Sant Joan revelry
Plaça de Catalunya
Apotheosic Sant Joan revelry with Blu Versions, DJ Miku, and DJ XVII.
DJ XVII will kick off the festivities to warm things up. Then at 1 pm, a cover band, Blu Versions with a session brimming with energy.
To top off the evening, at 3 am DJ Miku will take over and make us dance non-stop until dawn..

Celebration of the Eucharist in honour of the patron Saint John the Baptist, with the attendance of the committee, authorities, the heiresses and heirs.
11:30 am | Departure of the procession
Sant Joan church
Departure from Sant Joan church then going along Camí de la Fita, Carrer Floreal, Carrer Cardenal Vidal i Barraquer and ending at Hospital Sant Joan Baptista. In conjunction with Colla Noies de Bastons and Colla Mitjana de Bastons.

5 pm | Celebration of the Eucharist

10 pm | Havanera songs

Havanera songs performed by the band Barcarola. After that, rom cremat [burnt rum] and Malvasia in conjunction with CIM.
